FUNDED BY DONORS BLACK CULTURE TRADITIONAL ENTERTAINMENT FESTIVAL CANADA ALBERTA

A black culture traditional dance can't be specific, as black cultures are diverse across the world, however general characteristics include polyrhythms, communal participation, social significance (marking rites of passage or fostering community), physicality, and connection to African heritage. Examples range from traditional African dances like the Maganda dance,Maasai Adumu to African American dances like the Ugandan dance,Juba dance and Cakewalk," which preserved cultural traditions and expressed identity with our Canadian Alberta community and more areas to come.
